Here’s What Drinking 3 Liters of Water a Day Does

At the age of 42, a woman named Sarah Smith decided to conduct a bold experiment. Because she was suffering from frequent headaches and chronic fatigue, her doctor recommended that she give up tea, coffee, and carbonated drinks and start drinking more plain water. The woman listened to the advice and drank 3 liters of water — the equivalent of about 13 cups — a day for a month.

Take a look at how Sarah looked at the beginning of her journey — dark rings under her eyes, blotched on the skin, shriveled lips.

Here’s What Drinking 3 Liters of Water Looks Like

After 2 weeks

Sarah regularly took pictures of herself. After two weeks, her headaches were gone, and she admitted that she felt like a completely different person.

After 3 weeks

The dark rings and wrinkles under her eyes became less prominent, and Sarah lost two pounds. She would have a glass of water before meals, and it helped her curb appetite and boost metabolism.

After 4 weeks

The result exceeded all of Sarah’s expectations. She felt great, her skin looked younger and dewier, and fatigue disappeared.

Here is a photo of Sarah before and after the experiment. Well, it is ample proof that avoiding sugary drinks and giving preference to water is an excellent idea!

We are not advising you to drink 3 liters of water a day because everyone has their norm, depending on their age, living situation, weight, and activity level. The key is to drink often yet little by little, and it is best to consume most water in the morning.

Hopefully, this story inspires you to give up unhealthy drinks in favor of water, determine your daily norm, and motivate you to maintain it. Set a goal for yourself, and you will succeed! Especially if you enlist the support of your friends, so share this article with them!

I am an English major with a love of languages and fiction, and with an incurable travel bug. In my free time, I read fantasy, drink copious amounts of coffee, and like to go see movies. Culinary art means everything to me. My main hypostasis is the taster, though. The music school has taught me to appreciate the symphony of airy meringues, to create harmonious overtures of light snacks, hard rock of meat, fish, and vegetables on the grill. Choir classes have accustomed me to hear and feel the people nearby and create perfect harmonies of sounds.
