  • 4 apples
  • 1 cup (200 g) cottage cheese
  • ¼ cup (50 g) sugar
  • ⅓ cup (50 g) raisins
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon semolina
  • vanilla extract or cinnamon to taste
  • oil to grease a baking dish

Preparation:

  1. Wash apples, core them.
  2. Mix cottage cheese with eggs, sugar, raisins, vanilla and semolina.
  3. Fill the apples with the mixture. Grease a baking dish. Place the apples in it.

  • 2 dates

Ingredients:

  • 4 apples
  • 2 tablespoons grated ginger
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons white wine
  • 1 ¼ cup (300 g) cream
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • vanilla sugar to taste

Preparation:

  1. Put cream in a saucepan, add vanilla sugar, heat until the first bubbles appear, remove from the stove.
  2. Rub the yolks with sugar until they become a white mixture and gradually introduce them to the cream. Put on the stove until slightly thickened. That’s it, the vanilla sauce is ready.

  • a handful of nuts

  • 5 teaspoons vanilla sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cream

Preparation:

  1. Cut the tops from 4 apples. Deseed them and place for 15 minutes in the oven, preheated to 350 °F (180 °C).
  2. Peel the rest of the apples, shred coarsely, add cream, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, chopped nuts, raisins and guelder rose.
  3. Put the filling into the half baked apples, cover them with cut “lids” and bake for 15 minutes in the oven, heated to 350 °F (180 °C).
  4. Garnish with powdered sugar and sprigs of mint if desired.

Baked Apples With Orange Juice and Dried Apricots

Ingredients:

  • 4 large apples
  • 1 cup (190 g) dried apricots
  • ½ cup (75 g) raisins
  • ½ cup (65 g) chopped nuts
  • 4 teaspoons honey
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 oranges juice
  • lemon juice and mint to taste

Preparation:

  1. Dice dried apricots.
  2. Deseed apples. Using a spoon scrub a little pulp out of the apples. Drizzle with lemon juice.
  3. Mix raisins, nuts, dried apricots, honey and butter. Stuff the apples with the mixture.
  4. Insert a cinnamon stick inside each apple.
  5. Put the apples in a baking dish and pour with orange juice.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 °F (180 °C), pouring with orange juice from time to time.

Baked Apples With Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 8 apples
  • 1 lb (500 g) chicken
  • ½ cup (50 g) nuts
  • ⅓ cup (50 g) prunes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Preparation:

  1. Chop and fry nuts. Chop onion and garlic finely.
  2. Process a chicken through a meat grinder.
  3. Fry onion and garlic for 4 minutes in a pan, add minced chicken, stir and continue to fry for another 8 minutes.
  4. Put everything in a deep bowl, add nuts, egg, chopped prunes, mix thoroughly.
  5. Cut off the tops of apples, clean them from seeds and pulp.
  6. Stuff the apples with the filling, cover with the cut “lid” and put in a baking dish.
  7. Melt butter and sugar in a bowl and cook the mixture for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  8. Pour the apples with the sauce and bake for 10 minutes in the oven at 350 °F (180 °C).
  9. Enjoy your meal!
