White Cabbage Salads

White Cabbage Salads

Vitamin Cabbage Salad

Ingredients:

  • 11 oz (300 g) white cabbage
  • 1 sweet and sour green apple
  • 1 carrot and bell pepper
  • ½ bunch dill
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tbsp sugar
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Preparation:

  1. Chop the cabbage, grate the carrots, chop the dill, cut the apple and pepper into cubes. Combine everything in a deep bowl.
  2. Make the dressing from apple cider vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, sugar and salt. Pour it on the vegetables, mix.

Thai Cabbage Salad

Ingredients for the salad:

  • 11 oz (300 g) white cabbage
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1 bell pepper
  • ½ bunch scallions
  • ½ bunch cilantro
  • a handful of toasted peanuts

Ingredients for the dressing:

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • ½ tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • chili pepper to taste
  • salt to taste

Preparation:

  1. Chop the cabbage, grate the carrots, chop the onion and cilantro, cut the cucumber and pepper into strips. Combine everything in a deep bowl, add the peanuts.
  2. Mix ingredients for the dressing separately. Drizzle the salad with the dressing and mix.

Cabbage Salad With Anchovies

Ingredients:

  • 11 oz (300 g) white cabbage
  • 11 oz (300 g) red cabbage
  • 4 oz (100 g) canned anchovies
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Preparation:

  1. Chop both cabbages and place into a deep bowl.
  2. Separately, mash the anchovy fillet with grated garlic, a pinch of salt and pepper. Add the oil, vinegar, mix. Pour the dressing on the cabbage, mix.

Cabbage Salad With Pineapple and Yogurt Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 14 oz (400 g) white cabbage
  • 1 chilli pepper
  • 11 oz (300 g) canned pineapple
  • 1 lime
  • 1 red onion
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • 7 oz (200 g) Greek yogurt
  • salt to taste

Preparation:

  1. Chop the cabbage, chop the parsley and chili pepper, drain the pineapple juice. Cut the onion into thin half rings. Combine everything in one bowl.
  2. Zest the lime, add to cabbage. Squeeze the lime juice, mix with salt and yogurt. Drizzle the salad with the dressing, mix.

Cabbage Salad With Bacon and Bryndza

Ingredients:

  • 14 oz (400 g) white cabbage
  • 1 red onion
  • 3 oz (80 g) bacon
  • 5 oz (150 g) Bryndza
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • ½ tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Preparation:

  1. Dice the bacon, lightly brown on a dry frying pan, put on a paper towel. Thinly chop the cabbage, cut the onion into thin half rings.
  2. Mash half the Bryndza with a fork, mix with sunflower oil, mustard, lemon zest and lemon juice.
  3. Put the prepared vegetables and bacon in a deep bowl, drizzle with the dressing, mix. Crumble the remaining cheese and sprinkle it on top.
