It is no secret that sausages taste better when they are fried. Can you imagine how much better it will become if you cook them in a special sauce? The aroma will be absolutely irresistible. Sausages in a gypsy-style sauce deserve a place on your table.

A semi-spicy sauce of mushrooms, vegetables, and tomato paste will serve as a side dish for the golden sausages. Furthermore, pickles add piquancy. The slightly sour and salty taste will not go unnoticed. The portion of sausages in a gypsy-style sauce is large, so it’s easy to feed the whole family.

Steps

1
Done

Finely chop onion and bell pepper. Fry in hot oil, then add sliced mushrooms. Cook until liquid evaporates.

2
Done

Add tomatoes in juice, tomato paste, and finely chopped pickled cucumbers. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 3 minutes.

3
Done

Cut the sausages on the cross, fry on both sides in warmed sunflower oil. Serve with the sauce.

Sausages fried in sauce already make a full meal. Serve right in the skillet and enjoy! For a more satisfying option, boil rice or potatoes and pour the vegetable sauce on top.

I am an English major with a love of languages and fiction, and with an incurable travel bug. In my free time, I read fantasy, drink copious amounts of coffee, and like to go see movies. Culinary art means everything to me. My main hypostasis is the taster, though. The music school has taught me to appreciate the symphony of airy meringues, to create harmonious overtures of light snacks, hard rock of meat, fish, and vegetables on the grill. Choir classes have accustomed me to hear and feel the people nearby and create perfect harmonies of sounds.
