Heat the oil in a Dutch oven. Cook the chopped onion until soft. Add the chopped zucchini, water, and bouillon cube. Stir. Salt and pepper. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 4 hours, stirring frequently.

When the sauce starts to become mushy cook your rigatoni according to package instructions.

Add the cooked pasta, cheese, hot pepper flakes, and lemon juice to the sauce. Stir and serve.
