Recipes With Beets

Diet Beet Salad


  • 1 beet
  • 1 sour apple
  • walnuts to taste
  • lemon juice to taste
  • salt, ground black pepper to taste
  • vegetable oil to taste


  1. Boil a beet and let it cool before proceeding to peel it and cut it into matchsticks.
  2. Slice the apple the same way and then combine it with beets and the rest of the ingredients.

Beet Rolls


  • 1 beet
  • a few spoonfuls of soft cottage cheese
  • a few sprigs of cilantro
  • salt, ground black pepper, spices to taste
  • ¼ hot pepper
  • vegetable oil to taste


  1. Cut the beet into thin rings, sauté in a skillet with oil, and season with salt.
  2. Combine cottage cheese, hot pepper, cilantro, and spices in a bowl.
  3. Spread a thin layer of the mass onto the beet slices and form little rolls. Ta-dah!

Rice Salad With Beets and Tuna


  • 5 ¼ oz (150 g) rice
  • 1 beet
  • 2 red onions
  • 1 can of tuna in its own juice
  • balsamic vinegar to taste
  • olive oil to taste
  • salt, ground black pepper to taste


  1. Cook rice and boil beet in separate pots and let cool.
  2. Peel the beet and cut it into cubes. Do the same with red onions.
  3. Mash tuna with a fork and combine it with the boiled rice, beet and onion cubes, and the rest of the ingredients.
