Many people think that the most delicious part of any dessert is the filling. Various dessert fillings are always quite tasty and sometimes even very unusual. Today we are going to present you with delicious choux rings.

We’ve picked for you a great baking recipe that contains a mouth-watering cottage cheese cream. In order to cook it, you neither need the skills of a professional pastry chef nor to spend a lot of time on it, since it’s very easy to make. This filing is great for cakes and pastry. We hope you enjoy it!

Steps

1
Done

Cook the batter. Mix in the saucepan ½ cup (100 g) of butter with water. Put it on the stove.

2
Done

Bring to a boil, add salt and flour, stirring constantly.

3
Done

When it starts to simmer, remove from the stove and add eggs one at a time, while stirring thoroughly.

4
Done

Cover the pan with parchment paper. Fill the pastry bag with batter, squeeze the rings onto parchment paper. Bake at 350 °F (180 °C) for up to 30 minutes. First bake with the door closed, at the end open it slightly so that the rings are slightly dried. You can check it by pressing a finger on the rings. That's what they will look like.

5
Done

Make the cream. Beat the rest of the softened butter with powdered sugar. Add condensed milk, small portion at a time, whisking thoroughly at maximum speed.

6
Done

Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve. Mix both mixtures, beat them thoroughly.

7
Done

Cut the cooled rings in half. Grease one half with cream, cover with the second one and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

This delicious pastry is perfect for a tea party. If you haven’t tried it before, be sure to make it. As for those who have already enjoyed these rings, now they probably bake them all the time!

Like many people nowadays, I love to explore new places. My favorite type is slow travelling, when you can really blend in with locals and learn about new cultures and languages. But I think there are also perfect times for enjoying freshly baked pastry, a cup of fragrant coffee, and a good movie in the comfort of your own home. I guess I'm kind of a cultural omnivore, and I watch different types of movies, but the ones about art and food inspire me the most!
