The apple picking season always reminds me of apple cider donuts that are impossible to resist. But, unfortunately, frying them at home is not the most pleasant experience. This is where this amazing apple cider donut cake comes in.

Crowd-friendly and hassle-free, this tender and flavorful bundt cake is a great alternative to classic donuts we all love.

Steps

1
Done

Place a stick (113 g) of unsalted butter in a large bowl. Place applesauce and whole milk in a medium bowl and stir to combine. Remove the eggs from the fridge. Set aside the butter, milk mixture, and eggs until they are at room temperature.

2
Done

Melt a tablespoon of butter. Brush a 9-inch bundt cake pan with it.

3
Done

Place the flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and nutmeg in a medium bowl and whisk to combine.

4
Done

Add the brown sugar and 12 tablespoons of the granulated sugar to the bowl with butter. Beat until light and fluffy. Then continue to beat while adding the eggs one at a time. Add vegetable oil and vanilla extract. Beat until incorporated.

5
Done

Beat in a part of the dry ingredients, then half of the milk mixture. Beat in the rest of the dry ingredients, then the rest of the milk mixture. Beat until just combined. Pour the batter into the bundt cake pan. Smooth out the top.

6
Done

Bake in the preheated oven until cooked through, from 55 to 65 minutes at 350 °F (180 °C). Meanwhile, add the remaining sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of nutmeg into a small bowl. Stir to combine. Place a cooling rack over a baking sheet.

7
Done

Place the pan on the rack. Melt the rest of the butter. Coat the bottom of the bundt cake with a thin layer of butter. Top off with 2 teaspoons of the cinnamon sugar. Let the dessert cool for 45 minutes.

8
Done

Flip the dessert over. Brush all over with the remaining butter and sprinkle with the sugar mix. Serve warm.

Nothing says fall like this airy and flavorful bundt cake. Be sure to try it and tell us what you think!

Like many people nowadays, I love to explore new places. My favorite type is slow travelling, when you can really blend in with locals and learn about new cultures and languages. But I think there are also perfect times for enjoying freshly baked pastry, a cup of fragrant coffee, and a good movie in the comfort of your own home. I guess I'm kind of a cultural omnivore, and I watch different types of movies, but the ones about art and food inspire me the most!

I was just looking for this information for a while. After six hours of continuous Googleing, at last I got it in your site. I wonder what’s the lack of Google strategy that don’t rank this kind of informative websites in top of the list. Usually the top web sites are full of garbage.
