New recipes with chicken appear almost every day. What’s so special about that product? It seems that everything has long been tried and tested — and then another culinary masterpiece appears and you want to try and repeat it at home. Today we would like to tell you how to make these flavorful chicken foil packets.

All the ingredients in this dish are quite simple and familiar: chicken fillet, a few tomatoes, potatoes, onions. But it’s not about the ingredients, it’s about the way they are prepared!

Steps

1
Done

Cut the chicken into medium pieces. Pour milk over the meat and season with salt. Leave in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes.

2
Done

While the meat is in the fridge, make the foil packets. Grease them with vegetable oil. Transfer them to a baking sheet.

3
Done

Cut the potatoes into thin slices. Place on the bottom of the packets. Place thinly sliced onions on top, and then add the chicken.

4
Done

Beat eggs with sour cream. Pour the mixture over the chicken. Top off with thinly sliced tomatoes. Sprinkle everything with chopped garlic and grated cheese.

5
Done

Preheat your oven to 350 °F (180 °C). Place the baking sheet with the packets in the oven for 40 minutes.

6
Done

Sprinkle chopped herbs on top before serving the dish.

This is why I always have fresh chicken fillets in my fridge. I'm sure that different dishes can be prepared from the same foods. The main thing is the passion for learning, experimenting, and surprising your loved ones. If you have it, hurry up and repeat the recipe!

Like many people nowadays, I love to explore new places. My favorite type is slow travelling, when you can really blend in with locals and learn about new cultures and languages. But I think there are also perfect times for enjoying freshly baked pastry, a cup of fragrant coffee, and a good movie in the comfort of your own home. I guess I'm kind of a cultural omnivore, and I watch different types of movies, but the ones about art and food inspire me the most!
