Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these baked fritters are extremely easy to make. All this recipe requires is a quick and easy flour-based batter coupled with a few kitchen-staple ingredients. We used an unbeatable combination of cherry tomatoes, olives, salami, and cheese. Once you get the hang of the basics, you can switch these optional extras to your heart’s content. Is there anything better than using stuff that’s already lying around in your pantry? Absolutely not.

Because these delicious fritters are baked, you can make yourself a cup of coffee and sit back and relax while your oven does what ovens do. Mix, shape, bake, and ta-dah — your fun snack is ready!

I am an English major with a love of languages and fiction, and with an incurable travel bug. In my free time, I read fantasy, drink copious amounts of coffee, and like to go see movies. Culinary art means everything to me. My main hypostasis is the taster, though. The music school has taught me to appreciate the symphony of airy meringues, to create harmonious overtures of light snacks, hard rock of meat, fish, and vegetables on the grill. Choir classes have accustomed me to hear and feel the people nearby and create perfect harmonies of sounds.
