Today we would like to share with you a simple recipe for deep-fried puffs with cheese and jalapeno filling. They make a great appetizer that suits even a festive dinner.

Surprise your loved ones with these crispy wonton triangles. The spicy and stringy filling combines two kinds of cheese, which makes the recipe even tastier.

In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, diced jalapenos, minced garlic, and diced scallions.

Use about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture to fill each wonton wrapper. Fold your wontons and press the edges to seal.

Preheat the oil in a large deep skillet. Deep fry 4 wontons at a time until golden brown. Place on a paper towel.

Serve the fried wontons as an appetizer with your sauce of choice. Bon appetit!
