Chicken Fillet – 9 oz (250 g)

Water – 3 tbsp

Paprika – 1 tsp

Recipe
In stores, I often see meat sticks. They look appetizing, but I don’t trust the ingredients. Such foods often contain artificial flavors and other unhealthy stuff. Imagine my surprise when I saw chicken sticks on the menu of a decent Italian restaurant. One of my friends said that they tasted good and he knew how these sticks were made. We ordered the dish and it disappeared in seconds!
Needless to say, I asked for the recipe right after that evening. And it turned out to be much easier than I thought. Basically, all you need is a small piece of chicken fillet and some spices.

Cut the fillet into medium-sized pieces and place them in a blender. Add the water and spices. |

Grind everything until smooth. This will take about two minutes. |

Transfer the mixture to a pastry bag and squeeze the future chicken sticks onto a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. |

Bake the sticks for 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 400 °F (200 °C). The snack is ready when the sticks hold their shape well. |
My friends who are dieting adore this simple snack: no carbs, no fats, and no frying. You can easily prepare it for a movie night, take with you to a picnic or even chop it and use in hearty salads.
