Among numerous quick and tasty potato dishes, this recipe is a favorite of ours. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, potatoes with Parmesan mesmerize with their appearance and incredible aroma.

Due to its unique texture, Parmesan is an excellent addition to this dish. However, if you don’t have it at hand, feel free to use any hard cheese that will become crunchy and crispy during the baking process.

Steps

1
Done

Thoroughly wash potatoes and cut them in half.

2
Done

Finely grate Parmesan and combine it with paprika, black pepper, rosemary, salt, and ground garlic.

3
Done

Pour olive oil into the bottom of a baking dish. Then fill the bottom with the mixture of cheese and spices.

4
Done

Place the potatoes circle-wise in the dish with the cut side facing down. Brush them with olive oil and season with salt. Bake the dish for 30 minutes at 390 °F.

5
Done

Sauce

For the sauce, chop scallions and mix them with sour cream. Season with salt and pepper, stir again.

It is best to serve the dish hot from the over. You can use your preferred sauce instead of sour cream. Cheese and sweet-and-sour dips go perfectly with potatoes.

I am an English major with a love of languages and fiction, and with an incurable travel bug. In my free time, I read fantasy, drink copious amounts of coffee, and like to go see movies. Culinary art means everything to me. My main hypostasis is the taster, though. The music school has taught me to appreciate the symphony of airy meringues, to create harmonious overtures of light snacks, hard rock of meat, fish, and vegetables on the grill. Choir classes have accustomed me to hear and feel the people nearby and create perfect harmonies of sounds.
