Who doesn’t like a bowl of cereal? Especially if you cover the treat in delicious chocolate and gooey peanut butter and sprinkle it with a bit of powdered sugar. That’s right, we’re talking about puppy chow, or as some may call it, muddy buddies.

Our puppy chow is one of those recipes which proves that chocolate and peanut butter is the world’s best combination. This is the perfect snack to satisfy your sweet tooth. Be sure to give this yumminess a try!

Steps

1
Done

First, coarsely chop the peanut butter cups.

2
Done

To a microwave-safe bowl, add the unsalted butter, peanut butter, Nutella spread, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract. Microwave the mixture for 1 minute. Stir thoroughly and microwave for 30 more seconds.

3
Done

To a large bowl, add the cereal squares and pour the melted chocolate mixture on top. Mix the ingredients.

4
Done

Place the cereal into a plastic zipper bag and add the chopped peanut butter cups to the mixture. Close the bag and shake it. Add the powdered sugar to the cereal, close the bag and shake again. Place the mixture onto a piece of parchment paper and let it cool.

Store this sweet snack in an air-tight container. It will last you for up to 1 week.

Like many people nowadays, I love to explore new places. My favorite type is slow travelling, when you can really blend in with locals and learn about new cultures and languages. But I think there are also perfect times for enjoying freshly baked pastry, a cup of fragrant coffee, and a good movie in the comfort of your own home. I guess I'm kind of a cultural omnivore, and I watch different types of movies, but the ones about art and food inspire me the most!
