Not only can you prepare such a treat for breakfast or dessert, but you can also take it with you to work or study as an on-the-go bite. Oatmeal breakfast bars make an excellent snack rich in vitamins and minerals.

Almond milk, nuts, and cranberries perfectly complement oats. It makes the oatmeal breakfast bars as interesting and incredibly delicious as they are healthy.

Peel and cut apples, crush them until mashed. Add eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and mix.

Separately combine oats, sugar, and baking powder, add cinnamon, salt, and stir.

Cover the cereal with the apple and milk mixture, stir, and let sit for 20 minutes.

Add chopped walnuts and cranberries to the mixture, stir, and transfer the mixture to a mold lined with parchment.

Bake for 30 minutes at 360 °F, and then cut into portions.

You can choose and combine the ingredients as you prefer. Another huge plus is that you can store these treats for a long time: up to several days in the fridge and up to several months in the freezer.
