If you are looking to mix things up in the margarita department, this recipe is a real winner. The perfect cocktail trifecta of sweet, spicy, and salty makes this refreshing pineapple margarita pretty spectacular. Go ahead and mix a batch of this tropical cocktail for your next stay-at-home happy hour.

You don’t have to be a mixologist to concoct a swanky cocktail without leaving the house; this recipe is a piece of cake! With only a few ingredients, it’s super quick and easy to whip up.

Steps

1
Done

Cut jalapeño in half lengthwise. Combine it with pineapple juice and sugar in a saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 3 minutes.

2
Done

Strain the liquid and discard solids. Pop the mixture in the fridge for an hour.

3
Done

Squeeze the juice from two of the limes and stir it into the refrigerated liquid.

4
Done

Next, place tajin seasoning in a dish.

5
Done

Run a lime wedge around the rim of 4 glasses before dipping each in the seasoning to coat.

6
Done

Fill each glass with ice. Divide tequila among each glass before topping with some of the pineapple mixture. Toss the drink back and forth between two glasses to mix the ingredients.

7
Done

Pour margarita back in serving glass, add more ice, and garnish with jalapeño and pineapple slices.

Experience a slice of summer while cozied up on the couch, enjoying a glass of this sweet and spicy concoction. If you're more into coconut-y cocktails, check out our recipe for piña colada.

I am an English major with a love of languages and fiction, and with an incurable travel bug. In my free time, I read fantasy, drink copious amounts of coffee, and like to go see movies. Culinary art means everything to me. My main hypostasis is the taster, though. The music school has taught me to appreciate the symphony of airy meringues, to create harmonious overtures of light snacks, hard rock of meat, fish, and vegetables on the grill. Choir classes have accustomed me to hear and feel the people nearby and create perfect harmonies of sounds.

Hi there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing several weeks of hard work due to no data backup. Do you have any methods to protect against hackers?|
