Italian cuisine is known throughout the world as one of the most delicious ones. Therefore, its dishes have long been familiar and loved far beyond Italy. Gnocchi is no exception: not only Italians enjoy them, but also those who have never even been to this sunny country. Today we are going to tell you how to make delicious gnocchi with greens.

Some people think that gnocchi was the first kind of Italian pasta. Since then, much has changed. Therefore, now this dish can be prepared from many foods: wheat, semolina, potatoes, cottage cheese, dry bread.

Wash the potatoes thoroughly and boil them for 15 minutes. Then peel and grate on a coarse grater. Season the potato mixture with salt and pepper, add the egg, chopped parsley and flour, knead the dough.

Wet your hands so that the dough does not stick. Form small pancakes. Inside the pancakes, put a small piece of mozzarella, fold and roll the pancakes into balls. Place them into boiling water for 4 minutes.

Heat some butter and olive oil in a pan, put the gnocchi in there. Add fresh sage to the pan and fry the dish until golden brown, occasionally flipping them over. Sprinkle Parmesan on top.
