It’s convenient to have a couple of quick dessert recipes to make on a weeknight, when you’re tired and just want to treat yourself. However, sometimes you don’t want to limit yourself to something plain and ordinary. Then it’s time for such recipes as this melting chocolate ball!

Today Cook It is going to tell you how to make a delicious and elegant dessert. Your creation will surprise everybody at the table. Note, that for making this chocolate ball you will need a fillable christmas bauble to use as a mold.

Steps

1
Done

Firstly, gently melt white chocolate occasionally stirring.

2
Done

Open a christmas bauble and pour the melted chocolate inside. Close the bauble and start slowly rotating it so the chocolate covers the entire bauble from the inside.

3
Done

Leave the bauble in the freezer for half an hour. Take out from the freezer. Gently open the bauble and remove your chocolate bomb.

4
Done

Take a warm, dry plate. Place the ball on it and slightly twist. This way the bottom will melt and you’ll create a hole to fill the dessert.

5
Done

Take a serving plate. Place two brownie pieces on top of one another. Put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Place the chocolate ball on the plate so that the ingredients are inside it.

6
Done

Garnish the dessert with berries.

7
Done

Heat heavy cream and dark chocolate chips together in a microwave or a double-boiler to make a smooth sauce.

8
Done

Melt the chocolate ball pouring it over with hot glaze.

The presentation of this dessert is just astonishing! It’s not that difficult to make a chocolate ball at home, but the guests will be amazed. Good luck!

Like many people nowadays, I love to explore new places. My favorite type is slow travelling, when you can really blend in with locals and learn about new cultures and languages. But I think there are also perfect times for enjoying freshly baked pastry, a cup of fragrant coffee, and a good movie in the comfort of your own home. I guess I'm kind of a cultural omnivore, and I watch different types of movies, but the ones about art and food inspire me the most!
