Pudding is the kind of treat anyone can prepare. To make it more delicious and beautiful, merely add bananas. The sweet fruit is available all year round, which means you can enjoy the dessert whenever you like. This no-bake banana pudding will appeal not only to children, but also to adults.

Isn’t it amazing that you can make an original and elegant dessert without any fuss? This is the perfect recipe for the holidays. While the no-bake banana pudding sets, you will have time to cook the main course or mingle with your guests. Light custard, cookies, and bananas — this is how a real miracle is born!

Steps

1
Done

Combine sugar, vanilla sugar, and pudding in a stewpan. Add milk and stir thoroughly. Simmer until thickened, whisking constantly.

2
Done

Peel bananas and cut them into round pieces. Place them on the bottom of a muffin pan and cover with shortbread cookies.

3
Done

Pour the cooled pudding into a mold. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 2 hours.

4
Done

Place the pan with the set pudding in a saucepan with warm water for 2 minutes. Then, cover with a flat dish and turn it over.

No-bake banana pudding with cookies is so tender it melts in your mouth. You can garnish it with chocolate and pieces of fruit. This dessert disappears fast, so don't forget to set aside a piece for yourself.

I am an English major with a love of languages and fiction, and with an incurable travel bug. In my free time, I read fantasy, drink copious amounts of coffee, and like to go see movies. Culinary art means everything to me. My main hypostasis is the taster, though. The music school has taught me to appreciate the symphony of airy meringues, to create harmonious overtures of light snacks, hard rock of meat, fish, and vegetables on the grill. Choir classes have accustomed me to hear and feel the people nearby and create perfect harmonies of sounds.
