Giant pizza roll is the perfect recipe to share with your girlfriends. From simple foods comes a real culinary masterpiece. Unusual pizza is not only pretty, but also incredibly tasty. Melted mozzarella and piquant pepperoni, seasoned with Italian herbs, melt in your mouth.

The original pizza roll recipe uses marinara instead of tomato sauce. You can buy this ingredient at the store or cook it at home. And if there is no tomato paste at home, you can replace it with ordinary ketchup.

Steps

1
Done

Sprinkle the work surface with flour. Put the puff pastry on it and lightly roll it out.

2
Done

Grease the pastry with tomato sauce, sprinkle grated mozzarella, and put the pepperoni on top.

3
Done

Cut the dough lengthwise into strips. Make a large roll out of all the strips.

4
Done

Grease a baking dish with butter, put the roll in there and sprinkle it with Italian seasoning.

5
Done

Bake for 30 minutes at 350 °F (180 °C). The dough should rise significantly.

If you want to make small single serve pizza, just do not combine the strips of dough into one big roll. You can bake them separately, then your table will be decorated with small cute treats.

Like many people nowadays, I love to explore new places. My favorite type is slow travelling, when you can really blend in with locals and learn about new cultures and languages. But I think there are also perfect times for enjoying freshly baked pastry, a cup of fragrant coffee, and a good movie in the comfort of your own home. I guess I'm kind of a cultural omnivore, and I watch different types of movies, but the ones about art and food inspire me the most!
