Banana pancakes save the day for those who watch their waistlines. Any diet for weight loss excludes pastries from the menu, but sometimes it’s so hard to resist a couple of pancakes.

Sounds familiar? Then hurry and buy a few bananas in a store. While the pan is warming up, quickly make the batter…

Steps

1
Done

Ground oats into flour. Mash bananas with a fork, add a beaten egg, oat flour and cinnamon.

2
Done

Note: the flour may add an excessive density depending on its type. The dough can be diluted with water until the consistency of sour cream.

3
Done

Bake the pancakes in a dry frying pan over medium heat: just brown them on both sides until golden.

For this recipe you can also use almond flour instead of the oat one. Your gym instructor would probably approve of such a breakfast. Save this useful recipe to your bookmarks!

Like many people nowadays, I love to explore new places. My favorite type is slow travelling, when you can really blend in with locals and learn about new cultures and languages. But I think there are also perfect times for enjoying freshly baked pastry, a cup of fragrant coffee, and a good movie in the comfort of your own home. I guess I'm kind of a cultural omnivore, and I watch different types of movies, but the ones about art and food inspire me the most!
