Ryazhenka is a fermented milk product with a particular pleasant flavor. The drink is excellent on its own, but also serves as a great basis for various dishes. Today we are going to share with you a recipe for delicious chicken in fermented baked milk.

This is a recipe for surprisingly tender and juicy chicken thighs baked in ryazhenka. We are going to bake thighs , but you can use any part of the chicken as the main ingredient. The ryazhenka marinade makes the poultry extra tender, mustard and garlic add some piquancy, and onion makes it flavorful.

Steps

1
Done

Dry the chicken thighs with a paper towel, lay them on a cutting board and beat slightly with a rolling pin. Put the prepared poultry in a buttered baking dish. Add half rings of onions and chopped garlic.

2
Done

Add mustard, salt, and paprika to ryazhenka. Mix the ingredients. Place the chicken and vegetables into the marinade. Set aside for at least an hour.

3
Done

Put the chicken in the oven, preheated to 400 °F (200 °C), for 50 minutes or more.

Serve these hot chicken thighs with any side dish: potatoes, porridge, stewed or fresh vegetables. Enjoy your meal!

Like many people nowadays, I love to explore new places. My favorite type is slow travelling, when you can really blend in with locals and learn about new cultures and languages. But I think there are also perfect times for enjoying freshly baked pastry, a cup of fragrant coffee, and a good movie in the comfort of your own home. I guess I'm kind of a cultural omnivore, and I watch different types of movies, but the ones about art and food inspire me the most!
