If you like custard cream be sure to give this unusual dessert a try. Today we’d like to share with you a recipe for yeast pastry cones filled with chocolate custard. It is an interesting twist on traditional cream horns.

With such a delicate dough and unusual filling, this scrumptious homemade treat will definitely surprise your loved ones.

To prepare the dough, mix ¾ oz (20 g) flour with water. Combine it with the rest of the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Form a dough and set it aside for an hour.

Then make the filling. Heat the milk and melt the chocolate in it. Combine with the cornstarch. In a separate bowl, combine the egg yolks and sugar. Add them to the chocolate mixture and stir.

Divide the dough into 8 parts. Form the cones and leave the dough to rest for half an hour.

Brush the pastry with egg wash. Bake at 350 °F (180 °C) for about 15 minutes. Then fill with the custard.

These pastry cones are sure to impress anyone. Serve the treat topped off with powdered sugar. Bon appetit!
