It seems that tangerine sellers earn their living from December to February. Can you imagine how much of this sweet fruit is eaten during the winter holiday season? Some eat tangerines fresh, while others actively use them in baking. Pies, for example!



Thoroughly wash tangerines, preferably with a brush. Together with the peel, cut the fruit into pieces and remove the seeds.


Beat eggs with sugar with a mixer until lush foam. Then, in the cooking process, add oil, and then — cut tangerines.


Sift flour separately. Gradually combine it with the egg mass, continuing to beat the ingredients with a mixer. Then add peeled and diced apples to the dough.


Finally, sift the baking powder into the mass. Stir the ingredients with a spoon. Line a 9-inch baking dish with parchment, grease with butter, and sprinkle with sugar.


Pour the prepared dough into the mold and bake the cake in the oven preheated to 360 °F for 30–40 minutes. Test the thickest part of the pie for readiness with a toothpick.

This homemade masterpiece of a pie requires minimum ingredients, but you will fondly remember the taste and aroma for a long time. Take note of this recipe for any upcoming festivities!
