Oven-baked potato egg nest is a hearty and tasty treat. It has a crust from mashed potatoes mixed with bread crumbs, bacon and herbs. Such a dish is perfect for breakfast, and as a snack during the day.
You can also boil potatoes in advance. Then cooking potato egg nests will take very little time. It is better to form the appetizers with wet hands. Then the ingredients will not stick, and the process will be better and faster.

Peel, boil, and mash the potatoes. Add 4 tbsp bread crumbs, chopped bacon, almost all grated cheese and parsley. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg and mix. |

Take a little dough and form round flatcakes. Put them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. |

Serve these potato egg nests while still hot. Try sprinkling the dish with herbs or carefully placing it on lettuce leaves. Such a presentation will be great. Cut seasonal vegetables and serve with the appetizer.
