Chili con carne with minced meat is a masterpiece of Mexican cuisine. The name of the dish translates as “chili with meat.” The main ingredients are, of course, hot chili pepper and meat. Other components may vary depending on the region and season. Today, we are excited to share with you a recipe for turkey chili con carne.

Traditionally, Mexican treats feature beef. However, poultry will make the dish more delicate and dietary. To make sure the turkey chili con carne is as delicious and vibrant as possible, we opted for red canned beans and red bell pepper.

By the way, in some regions, they add a little honey, sugar, or even cocoa to this dish. It makes the taste of Mexican chili con carne more complex and sophisticated.

Steps

1
Done

Make minced meat from turkey fillet. Heat oil in a pan, add the minced turkey and fry until light gold.

2
Done

Add peeled and chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the minced meat. Stir and cook some more. Then add beans and chopped tomatoes.

3
Done

Mix well. Season with salt and pepper, then add the remaining spices to taste, stir.

Mexican chili con carne with minced turkey goes well with a side of rice. It is best to serve the dish with ordinary unsweetened yogurt or sour cream. Before putting the Mexican treat on the table, garnish it with chopped parsley and grated cheese.

The music school has taught me to appreciate the symphony of airy meringues, to create harmonious overtures of light snacks, hard rock of meat, fish, and vegetables on the grill. Choir classes have accustomed me to hear and feel the people nearby and create perfect harmonies of sounds.
