Today we’d like to share with you a few tricks on how to make the most delicious cinnamon rolls without yeast in just 1 hour. They turn out fluffy and you don’t even need a mixer for this recipe.

If you usually stay away from shortcut recipes, we can assure you this one is definitely worth trying out! We also recommend complementing the sweet treat with delicious butter-cream cheese frosting.

Steps

1
Done

To make the dough, combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl. In another bowl, combine the yogurt, milk, butter, and egg. Stir the yogurt mixture into the dry mixture with a spatula. Knead the dough a few times.

2
Done

Lightly flour the work surface. Place the dough on it. Roll it out into a 12-x15-inch rectangle. Spread the filling: first the soft butter, then the mixture of both types of sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Leave a 1-inch border around the edges. Sprinkle the pecans on top of the filling. Tightly roll up the dough.

3
Done

Slice the roll into 12 pieces. Place them into a greased 9-x13-inch pan. Bake at 350 °F (180 °C) for 25 to 30 minutes. Let the rolls cool for several minutes while preparing the frosting.

4
Done

Melt the butter over medium-low heat. Cook stirring often until it starts to smell nutty. Combine the butter with cream cheese in a large bowl. Whisk until smooth. Stir in the rest of the ingredients. Spread the frosting on top of the cinnamon rolls.

A pro tip: use very soft butter for this recipe. If you don't like spending a whole day on baking, but want to treat your family to delicious cakes, be sure to try other 1-hour baking recipes we've picked for you.

Like many people nowadays, I love to explore new places. My favorite type is slow travelling, when you can really blend in with locals and learn about new cultures and languages. But I think there are also perfect times for enjoying freshly baked pastry, a cup of fragrant coffee, and a good movie in the comfort of your own home. I guess I'm kind of a cultural omnivore, and I watch different types of movies, but the ones about art and food inspire me the most!
