Wash potato tubers under running water using a brush. If the peel is already old, just remove it. |

Preheat an oven to 400 °F (200 °C). Cut the potatoes into thin slices with a special knife or grater. Mix in a bowl with olive oil, salt and spices. |

The finished "flowers" are easy to remove from the pan, and melted cheese prevents them from crumbling. It’s not necessary to make small servings. You can also cook one huge potato flower in a bakeware, and serve the meal right in it!
