Cinnamon rolls are perfect for any breakfast and Sunday brunch. However, their recipe ordinarily calls for measuring out a bunch of ingredients, mixing and kneading the dough in a mixer, waiting for the yeast to rise properly — twice! It is no wonder that, more often than not, we opt for running to the nearest bakery to get them.

Today, we’re eager to offer a solution: no-yeast cinnamon rolls you can whip up while your oven is heating up. Furthermore, they feature only seven staple ingredients that you probably have in your kitchen already. Let’s make some easy, practically irresistible cinnamon rolls!

Preheat the oven to 350 °F.

Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and set aside.

Combine ½ cup of the sugar and the cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside.

Combine flour and the remaining sugar in a large bowl. Next, mix milk and 4 tablespoons of melted butter in a medium bowl. Add the milk mixture to the flour mixture and stir until homogenous.

Transfer the dough onto a surface sprinkled with flour and knead until smooth.

Roll out the dough into a 24x10-inch-long, quarter-inch thick rectangle.

Brush the surface of the dough with 2 tablespoons of the melted butter. Evenly sprinkle it with the sugar and cinnamon mixture, leaving a half-inch border.

Form a roll and pinch together the edges.

Cut the dough crosswise into 15 pieces.

Place the cut rolls cut-side up in the baking dish and brush them with the remaining melted butter.

Meanwhile, combine powdered sugar, milk, and salt in a medium bowl and whisk until smooth.
