Peanut butter balls are easy, no-bake dessert with a satiny chocolate coating that will deliciously melt in your mouth. This treat has everything your sweet-craving heart desires. Firstly, it features peanut butter for flavor, creaminess, and texture. Secondly, dark chocolate gives it that kick of decadence. Finally, powdered sugar adds additional thickness and sweetness.

Made with an electric mixer with a few simple, pantry-staple ingredients that you probably already have on hand, these are comforting sweet treats to look forward to after a meal or as an afternoon on-the-go pick-me-up.

Steps

1
Done

To begin with, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2
Done

Whip butter in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Next, add peanut butter and whip until the mixture is uniform.

3
Done

Add vanilla extract, salt, and powdered sugar and continue whipping until you have a soft and crumbly dough.

4
Done

Form one-inch balls from the dough and distribute them on the prepared baking sheet.

5
Done

Cover the balls and pop them in the fridge for an hour.

6
Done

Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate dip by melting chocolate with vegetable oil. Let cool.

7
Done

Dunk each peanut butter ball into the chocolate mixture, then transfer back to the baking sheet.

8
Done

Return the balls to the fridge for half an hour to let the chocolate set.

Keep the peanut butter balls separated from each other on the baking sheet lest the melted chocolate smudges before having time to set. Not only are these treats incredibly delicious, but also convenient to take on the go and store. You can store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, though our peanut butter balls are so tasty that they have little chance of not being eaten right away.

I am an English major with a love of languages and fiction, and with an incurable travel bug. In my free time, I read fantasy, drink copious amounts of coffee, and like to go see movies. Culinary art means everything to me. My main hypostasis is the taster, though. The music school has taught me to appreciate the symphony of airy meringues, to create harmonious overtures of light snacks, hard rock of meat, fish, and vegetables on the grill. Choir classes have accustomed me to hear and feel the people nearby and create perfect harmonies of sounds.
