There cannot be too many delicious and simple breakfast ideas. It is important to know enough fun and easy-to-make recipes so you can spice up your daily menu. And today’s baked eggs recipe is one of those that are definitely worth saving for later.

It tastes as good as a skillet breakfast, but because the dish is baked in the oven, the cooking process requires less effort. This way you will have some free time while the delicious breakfast is being prepared.

Steps

1
Done

Into a large bowl, add the diced potatoes, chopped bacon, all the spices, and vegetable oil. Stir with a spatula to coat the potatoes and bacon.

2
Done

Evenly spread the ingredients on a baking sheet lined with a silicone mat or parchment paper. Bake for 20 minutes at 425 °F (220 °C).

3
Done

Remove the dish from the oven. Using a spoon create 6 wells in the potatoes. Break an egg into each well. Bake for another 5 minutes at 425 °F (220 °C).

4
Done

Cut the bake into 6 large squares.

This pan sheet breakfast is so easy to make. Just combine the ingredients and pop them in the oven. And the results are definitely worth the time spent! Serve the bake garnished with fresh herbs of your choice. Bon appetit!

Like many people nowadays, I love to explore new places. My favorite type is slow travelling, when you can really blend in with locals and learn about new cultures and languages. But I think there are also perfect times for enjoying freshly baked pastry, a cup of fragrant coffee, and a good movie in the comfort of your own home. I guess I'm kind of a cultural omnivore, and I watch different types of movies, but the ones about art and food inspire me the most!
