“Bounty” is a favorite dessert of many of those with sweet tooth. Coconut bars in delicate milk chocolate disappear from store shelves in a flash! But how can you be sure of the quality of the dessert with a shelf life of more than six months? Luckily, now you have an alternative! We recommend trying this bounty swiss roll recipe.

We believe in your skill, so we offer you this recipe, which is a real catch for coconut dessert lovers. This is the cake that will definitely amaze your taste buds!

Steps

1
Done

Mix melted butter with powdered sugar. Then add in coconut flakes and mix again. Grind cookies into crumbs with a blender.

2
Done

Mix cocoa powder with cookie crumbs with a whisk. Melt the sugar in boiled water and pour the liquid into the dry mixture. Mix the dough with a spoon and transfer it to a board covered in plastic wrap.

3
Done

Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Place coconut filling on top and spread it evenly, leaving 2 inches (5 cm) uncovered on one side. Gently roll the dough up and leave in the refrigerator for 40 minutes.

Sprinkle the finished dessert with powdered sugar and cut into thin bars. Serve with morning coffee. This dessert is guaranteed to cheer you up and make up for the lack of sugar in blood. And the most important thing is this recipe always turns out great. Homemade "Bounty" roll cake is much more tastier than the bar from a store shelf!

Like many people nowadays, I love to explore new places. My favorite type is slow travelling, when you can really blend in with locals and learn about new cultures and languages. But I think there are also perfect times for enjoying freshly baked pastry, a cup of fragrant coffee, and a good movie in the comfort of your own home. I guess I'm kind of a cultural omnivore, and I watch different types of movies, but the ones about art and food inspire me the most!
