Chicken is a staple food in many families. The tender dietary poultry is always a part of proper nutrition. But people often forget about such a valuable food as beans. We decided not to miss out on such an opportunity and combine the two foods in one recipe. This delicious chicken and beans stew will once and for all win you over.

The chicken stew recipe is both simple and creative. First you need to brown the fillet. Then stew it with canned beans and tomatoes. This way the meat turns out juicy. You can pour the fragrant gravy on potatoes, rice or pasta. But this stew is also great on its own.

Steps

1
Done

Slice the chorizo. Cut the fillet into medium slices. Heat the olive oil. Fry the chorizo on both sides. Add the chicken, 1 teaspoon of salt and cook for 5–10 minutes. Put it in a plate.

2
Done

In the same oil, fry strips of pepper and half rings of onions until soft. Add chopped garlic and paprika, mix.

3
Done

Pour canned beans and tomatoes in the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Thoroughly mix.

4
Done

Add the chicken and chorizo. Stir and simmer under the lid for another 15 minutes. Remove from heat and serve immediately.

The hearty meal does not require a side dish. You can serve the chicken directly in the pan with fresh bread. Break off a piece and dip in sauce. Isn't that amazing? Be sure to try it!

Like many people nowadays, I love to explore new places. My favorite type is slow travelling, when you can really blend in with locals and learn about new cultures and languages. But I think there are also perfect times for enjoying freshly baked pastry, a cup of fragrant coffee, and a good movie in the comfort of your own home. I guess I'm kind of a cultural omnivore, and I watch different types of movies, but the ones about art and food inspire me the most!
