Who does not like tender pork, that after a slow cooking process can be easily pulled apart? Such a pork breast (or shoulder) can be eaten without a knife. Today we would like to share with you a recipe for easy pulled pork and beans.

The secret to the perfect dish lies in the right temperature and patience. Bake pork in a large amount of sauce. This way the meat becomes even tender than chicken. The sauce must be spicy! At least this kind of meat goes great with red pepper. Here’s our tried and tested recipe!

Steps

1
Done

Cut off the excess fat from the piece of pork, rub it with salt and fry in a pan in a small amount of oil until golden brown.

2
Done

In the same pan, saute chopped onions until soft, then add chopped garlic, red pepper, tomato sauce, mustard, a spoonful of sugar, about 1 cup (200 ml) of water and a little thyme.

3
Done

Bring the sauce to a boil, put the fried piece of pork in it. Cover and cook in the oven for 3 hours at 325 °F (160 °C).

4
Done

After the long cooking process, the pork will be very soft. Use two forks and pull it apart right in the pan.

5
Done

Add the beans, mix everything and cook under the lid in the oven for another half hour at 325 °F (160 °C).

It's hard not to fall in love with this sauce. You can stew ribs and steaks in it, pork will turn out also tasty and tender. You can eat the dish without bread or a hearty side dish. However, a serving of fresh vegetables will be very appropriate, as well as a large amount of greens. Bon Appetit!

Like many people nowadays, I love to explore new places. My favorite type is slow travelling, when you can really blend in with locals and learn about new cultures and languages. But I think there are also perfect times for enjoying freshly baked pastry, a cup of fragrant coffee, and a good movie in the comfort of your own home. I guess I'm kind of a cultural omnivore, and I watch different types of movies, but the ones about art and food inspire me the most!
