Today we would like to offer you a recipe for homemade mozzarella-stuffed meatloaf made from ground pork and beef. Serve this dish with a side or make the most delicious sandwiches.

We’re not going to add any eggs or bread to the ground meat. So, to achieve a smooth texture, thoroughly beat the mixture.

Steps

1
Done

Combine the meat in a large bowl, add salt, black pepper, chopped mushrooms. Add grated hard cheese, parsley, mix thoroughly.

2
Done

Beat the ground meat thoroughly. Then put it on parchment paper, distribute to make a rectangular layer. Place the mozzarella slices in the center.

3
Done

Lift the edges of the parchment paper, roll up the meatloaf and seal the edges so the cheese stays in place during baking.

4
Done

Cover the meatloaf with another 2 layers of parchment paper, tie the ends to make it look like candy. Bake at 350 °F (180 °C) for 50 minutes. Let the loaf cool down, and leave it in the fridge for 3 hours.

Such a juicy, tender and all-natural meatloaf can replace any sausage. If the meat is lean, add 5 ⅓ oz (150 g) of ground bacon.

Like many people nowadays, I love to explore new places. My favorite type is slow travelling, when you can really blend in with locals and learn about new cultures and languages. But I think there are also perfect times for enjoying freshly baked pastry, a cup of fragrant coffee, and a good movie in the comfort of your own home. I guess I'm kind of a cultural omnivore, and I watch different types of movies, but the ones about art and food inspire me the most!
