Today we would like to share with you this delectable avocado ice cream recipe with lemon and lime. Despite the fact that avocado is a rather rare dessert ingredient, here it’s a crucial one. It will make the ice cream incredibly rich.
Don’t worry about the taste: it’s going to blow you away! The purpose of lemon and lime here is not only for the aroma: citrus juice is going to prevent the avocado from darkening. If you want to make a vegan dessert out of it, just substitute honey for maple syrup and use any plant-based milk instead of the regular one.

Zest and juice the lemon and lime.

Beat the avocado pulp with a blender. Immediately add the zest and juice and stir. Add honey, vanilla, pour in milk and beat thoroughly again.

Transfer the mixture to a container suitable for freezing and place in the freezer. When the ice cream has set, stir the mixture.

Repeat the process 3 more times every 30 minutes, so that the ice cream is smooth without any crystals.
